Math Olympiads
Build Better Math Students Through Contests!
We are hoping offer another year of Math Olympiads at Guadalupe. Principal Jones will update all families when this program starts.
MOEMS®(Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools) provides opportunities for children to engage in problem solving and mathematical practice.
Some key facts to consider:
4th and 5th graders who are interested in this team are invited to take the assessment test. Participants will be selected based on the assessment test score.

Students who join must be passionate and committed to enriching their knowledge of math and problem-solving skills. Regular attendance is important and expected.
All students will be given homework each week: a set of 5~10 problems and watching math concept videos.
There will be 5 monthly tests (November through March) conducted by MOEMS that will be administered during the class.
At the end of the year, there will be an opportunity for some of the students to participate in a district math tournament.

Participants in Guadalupe cannot join other Math Olympiads teams.
