We are proud to recently have earned the distinction of California Gold Ribbon School because of our caring school climate, data driven student support systems, and high academic achievement. Guadalupe School is a proactive community of staff, parents and students striving to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, while ensuring every child realizes his or her potential.

We are proud of our impressive Academic Performance Index (API), which highlights our students' high academic achievement. As principal, it is my responsibility to empower students, staff and parents to become lifelong learners. Staff members constantly seek new ways to make school exciting and relevant for our students. They are highly dedicated to providing an enriched, rigorous curriculum that ensures our students are confident, competent, independent learners. At the same time, we also take pride in our students' accomplishments in the arts. Thanks to the generous support of our Home and School Club, students have opportunities to experience art through our Art Vistas, Clay programs, music, dance and theater programs. Additionally, more than 100 students participate annually in our before and after-school Chorus and Drama Club productions. We also offer many enriching extracurricular classes and clubs. Our school strives to create a supportive climate in which every child's talents and interests are nurtured.

We are proud of our school-wide discipline program, from which our students learn to become positive, productive citizens. In addition, parent volunteers provide a monthly story and character lesson through the Project Cornerstone ABC Reader Program. Guadalupe students are recognized for their positive choices through our Gold Card program. Student leadership is valued at Guadalupe and we take pride in our many programs that offer students opportunities to support our school and community. Students in upper grades may serve on Safety Patrol, Playground Pals, and as school leaders through Student Council. Each of these programs provides a valuable contribution to ensure our school environment continues to be positive, safe, and supportive.
